The brochure for Roast Beet required several elements. It is a 4/4 process color with 6 panels. It's overall size is 15.25" x 8.5". There is no other copy on the front cover other than the logo with an emphasis being on the visual. The brochure is intended to be mailed as well as to have a Business reply mail card that a customer may send back in order to receive more information about the company. Additionally, there is a coupon above the business reply mail card. Both are perforated for ease in removing from the rest of the brochure. The interior of the brochure needed a main headline, three subheads, a map, as well as a photo.
Now expanding the color palette, I have introduced two additional colors, brown and orange. The brown helps ground everything, makes up a majority of the body text while the orange is used to highlight and help pull the eye across the pages. This is the perfect opportunity to use food images as they looks the most appetizing in full color. In the kit cover, the photo used shows the interior of the restaurant which has decorative chalk board walls. These are echoed in the brochure, once more creative a fluid and cohesive feel.
