Roast Beet is a restaurant located in Oregon that specializes in vegetarian cuisine. The style of the restaurant is rustic and wholesome. They emphasize clean eating, using local produce, and being a green company.
The logo design utilizes a Beet graphic whose leaves resemble a flame along with the name of the company. I specially made the typeface for Roast Beet that had a sharpness similar to the flame leaves. The final colors are reflective of a traditional beet. While beets themselves come in several colors, I chose a purple tone as it is the most recognizable shade for a beet. To add contrast and have the flame leaves look most like leaves, I chose a green that most resembled leafy green lettuce.
